The Thing tone sketch

About half way through my big Countdown project, I was starting to get a little burned out, so I drew this to kinda get the creative juices going again. I have to say, I've really gotten into working with this tone paper stuff. Lots of fun stuff you can do with it. It's also a lot of fun to draw a character with so much detail. Finally, I tried something a little different for the cracks in the background, too, which felt like like a bit of a breakthrough. Really happy with how they turned out.
